Q1. What have been your greatest successes (physically,mentally or emotionally) since you began? How does your body feel now compared to when you started and WHY?
Success is measure in pounds, pounds of weight lifted off the ground or rack, we have added at least 25% to our one rep max since we started just over a year ago. Body feels stronger and more agile than before, with more range of motion and more definition in proper technique
Q2. How has your life changed since starting CrossFit training? Has CrossFit transferred over into any other areas of your life?
Life has changed to a more regimented work out schedule with an overall motivation to do more with better results. Yes, has made our running and cardio workouts more proficient with increased finish times
Q3. What are the advantages of CrossFit style training compared to your previous workout styles?
Before was all long distance and longer rep workouts, now with mixing in sprint type workouts it has paid off in both long distance and more strength. Well balanced to exceed at each workout type, long cardio and short sprint work, paying off.
Q4. What advice can you give to others?
Keep strong, keep active and your health will automatically follow, there are a lot of excuses on why not to be healthy, if you can get motivated and stay motivated then it all comes easy.
