Q1. What have been your greatest successes (physically, mentally or emotionally) since you began? How does your body feel now compared to when you started and WHY?
My greatest successes have been both physical and emotional. I have gained confidence through doing CrossFit. I have also become much stronger and actually look forward to working out.
Q2. How has your life changed since starting CrossFit training? Has CrossFit transferred over into any other areas of your life?
CrossFit has definitely changed my life in many ways. I love being part of such an amazing group of people and CrossFit has given me something to look forward to everyday. Through CrossFit I have developed a much better work ethic and have begun to enjoy working out.
Q3. What are the advantages of CrossFit style training compared to your previous workout styles?
CrossFit has been perfect for me because I have the flexibility to sign up whenever I can fit it in. The schedule is less time consuming yet I am still able to get a great workout. I have also experienced a quicker physical change with CrossFit than I have with other styles of working out.
Q4. What advice can you give to others?
My advice to others is to work your hardest on every workout. You will only get better if you work for it.
Athlete Specific Q. You finished 2nd in the Region and 26th in the World for the 2016 CrossFit Opens teenage girls 16-17 scaled division, what is your goal for the 2017 CrossFit Opens? Will you move up to the RX division?
My goal for the 2017 opens is to move up to the RX division and place in the top 100.
