Tuesdays are intended to be gymnastics skills days but athletes will have the option to perform a core circuit in the place of skills. Today, and every other Tuesday, we will be working on headstand, handstand and handstand walk progressions.
Our intention is to get athletes comfortable with different positions that will hopefully translate into their CF skills for things like HSPU and attempting to get into positions they otherwise might avoid.

Warm Up: 7 Mins
2 Round Rotating Tabata :20/:10
Burpees
Sit Ups
Air Squats
DB Jefferson Curls
Then 1:30 / Side LAX Roll Rotator Cuff

Core or Gymnastics Skills – 12 Mins
Option 1: Headstand / Handstand Holds or HS Walk Practice
Level 1: Headstands & Kick Ups to Handstand – Coaches will be working with athletes on these skills most
Level 2: Freestanding Handstands – use wall to start and work on balancing away from the wall
Level 3: Handstand Walking

Option 2: Core
3 Rounds Not For Time:
Accumulate :30 Hanging L-Sit / L-Tuck / Hollow Hold
:30 / Side Plank Hip Lifts
15 / Side Banded Wood Chops Top to Bottom – Video

Metcon: 20 Min Cap

15 Push Ups
